FAQs
Where are your classes based?
All my classes are conducted via Google Meet (I run on Sydney time).
Why are classes conducted via Google Meet?
For your convenience. At times it can be hard to commit to training, because class times don’t fit with your schedule, so I facilitated a no-excuses way to get classes done. Whether you’re on your lunch break, in your car, or sitting on the couch with your dog; whatever your schedule may be, we can find a time that works. I find that when my students are in a place that is familiar to them, they give themselves permission to open up and explore various parts of themselves.
What is your availability?
I am flexible and can work around your schedule.
How long do Three Class Packages last for?
You have 10 weeks to use your classes. You are able to do 1 class a week, or 2+ classes a week. Extensions available under extraordinary circumstances.
Can I make payments in multiple instalments?
Yes. Get in touch if this option works for you.
Do you provide refunds?
Yes, provided you have notified me 48 hours before your first class. Once classes begin, you are unable to get a refund.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
All ages are welcome! If you are under 16 I will need to speak with a parent/guardian about your classes. Please be aware that the material we use for class does occasionally have adult-language.
Can I reschedule a class?
Yes, definitely! Even on short notice, I am very flexible. I may have to (very rarely) reschedule a class myself, as I do have a small child and sometimes appointments happen - it’s life! But I will always immediately find the next best available time slot for you.
Is a friend or family member allowed to sit in on a session?
I highly advise against having a parent/friend sit in during a session. Acting is a very personal craft and you must be able to, without fear of judgement, connect and express the deepest parts of your being.
Can actors of any level do your classes?
I take on all levels of students. Whether you’re new to the industry or working professionally. Regardless of the level, there is always room for growth.
What do I need to prepare?
Learn your lines. Knowing your lines is your first challenge. It is the basis of an Actor's work and the minimum requirement expected of you when you step into the audition room. In order to progress in your craft and in my classes you will need to know your lines.
I want to book 10-20 sessions. Do you offer these types of packages?
Yes, I have many students who have booked over 10 session in bulk. Get in touch to discuss.
